Product Description

Thermophotovoltaics uses a thermally heated radiation emitter that irradiates photocells to convert thermal into electrical energy. 

An application of the TPV is the construction of combined heat and electricity generators working without any movable parts. Residential heating systems equipped with TPV generators can produce the electrical power they need to function by themselves and can therefore work independently of the electrical mains. 
 

Selective radiation emitters made from rare earth oxides (Yb2O3 and Er2O3) suitable for thermophotovoltaic (TPV) systems, the mantle emitters is chemically coated with Er2O3 and Yb2O3 layers.
